I had a lovely Christmas stay! The location was spot on-just minutes from the South Melbourne Market and Woolworths, making it super easy to grab treats. The bed was crazy comfortable, and the private entrance made me feel safe and cozy. Plus, the streaming services on the TV were a blast!
It wasn’t all sunshine. The A/C was a bit wonky, and the front desk was hardly ever staffed. I found myself dialing up for help way too often, which got annoying. The kitchen was also underwhelming—totally lacked basic stuff like a knife or a proper table. just kinda disappointing!

An electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV available in the suite. A great and decent location within minutes' walk from restaurants and a casino🙂

Trendy boutique hotel in a nice enough area not far from many restaurants and pubs and South Melbourne Markets, Melbourne Exhibition and the airport. A good choice of fine food for meals. Great location, a short walk to everywhere. Again, walking distance to a lively indoor market.

I had a wonderful stay at Clarendon Hotel, enjoying its excellent location with everything within walking distance, from the vibrant South Melbourne markets to picturesque riverside strolls. The newly renovated room was spacious, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and a clean, modern bathroom. I appreciated the thoughtful details of the kitchenette, although I did miss some essentials like cutlery and plates.
One minor drawback was the lack of 24-hour reception; I faced a bit of a wait to receive my room access details via text, which could be inconvenient.

Everything was great at this hotel, easygoing and hospitable staff. Location: the property was just next door to public transport, restaurants, cafes, hotels and the Melbourne CBD and the tram station and Melbourne Exhibition and convention Centre. Food in the rooftop bar was great.

I appreciated the contactless check-in and check-out process, and the nearby supermarket and cafes made my stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the tram stop right outside was convenient for accessing various locations.

During my recent business trip, my director chose the Clarendon Hotel in Melbourne, and I must say, it was a wonderful decision. The location on Clarendon Street, South Bank, was perfect, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, plus a supermarket just a short walk away. I loved my room; it was spacious, with a comfortable bed that made unwinding after a long day so easy. The newly renovated bathroom was clean, featuring a large walk-in shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I appreciated the smart TV too, which allowed me to connect to streaming services seamlessly.
Motor noise cut in and out.
